POPIA Compliance Statement
humanITLoop (Pty) Ltd is committed to protecting the personal information of all users of our platform in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA) of the Republic of South Africa.

What Personal Information We Collect
We collect personal information necessary to provide our services, including:
- Name and email address (for account registration)
- Payment information (processed by PayFast — we do not store card details)
- Business and organisational information you provide within tool inputs
- Usage data and analytics to improve platform performance
Purpose of Processing
Personal information is collected and processed for the following purposes:
- Providing and managing your account and tool access
- Processing payments for subscriptions and once-off purchases
- Sending product updates and service communications
- Improving our platform and user experience
- Compliance with legal obligations

We process personal information on the following bases: fulfilment of your service agreement with us, your consent (where applicable), and our legitimate business interests where these do not override your rights.

Tool content you enter (strategy documents, ethics inputs etc.) is stored securely and is accessible only to you.
Sharing of Information
humanITLoop does not sell personal information. We share information only with trusted third-party service providers necessary to deliver our services (e.g. PayFast for payment processing, hosting providers), and only under appropriate data processing agreements.
Retention
Personal information is retained for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter to meet legal and business obligations. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal information at any time.

You have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your personal information
- Object to the processing of your personal information
- Lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa
